At the invitation of the Irish Consul General in Hong Kong , Peter Ryan, Tile Films'  "A Terrible Beauty" screened at the famous Fringe Club in Hong Kong on Saturday the 2nd of May 2015 to a full house. The screening was the centrepiece of a week of events organised by the Consulate of Ireland, Hong Kong attended by director and writer of the docudrama Keith Farrell and Colin Farrell project manager of the storiesfrom1916.com project. They also gave presentations at three secondary schools in the city in the last few days



ABOUT A TERRIBLE BEAUTY/ÁILLE AN UAFÁIS


A Terrible Beauty/Áille an Uafáis ... a 93 minute feature docudrama is set during the Irish Rebellion of 1916. It is centered on two linked events during that Easter week, the battles of Mount Street and North King Street, culminating in the massacre of fifteen innocent young men and boys.
