A native of Co. Fermanagh, Catherine graduated from University College Dublin with BA in Irish and Classics, before completing a MA in Nua-Ghaeilge.
Beginning her television career over a decade ago, she has since worked in both research and production for a wide range of programming in both Irish and English including 'Púca agus Péist' (Tg4, 2004), 'Ceart agus Coir' (Tg4, 2005), Chain Reactions (RTÉ One, 2005 / 2006) 'Imeacht na nIarlaí' (Tg4, 2007), 'Living with Murder' (TV3, 2008) and 'Behind Bars' (TV3, 2011).
Originally, Catherine’s work focused on historical documentaries (including the award winning ‘Ireland’s Nazis’ for Tile Films, 2006) but over the last number of years, she has widened her range of work by producing content for a number of worldwide formats including The Lie (Tv3, 2014), Great Irish Bake Off (TV3, 2013 & 2014), Mastermind (Tv3, 2012), and Operation Transformation (RTÉ One, 2015).
In 2015, she was delighted to return to Tile Films to work on a range of Irish and international documentary projects.
Catherine has continued her education and currently holds Diplomas in Journalism, Public Relations and Digital Marketing.
