Manchán visits Howth Castle - situated a few miles north of Dublin city amid the stunning beauty of the Howth peninsula. The castle has been in the St Lawrence family since 1177 and has never before opened it’s doors to a camera crew. In April 2010 Tile Films went to MIPTV in Cannes with the format ‘Who Lived In My House’ and entered into talks with various distributors from the UK and US who were interested. Discussions and negotiations continued over the summer and following MIPCOM in October Tile Films agreed to sign a deal with US distributors NBC International.
Speaking about the format Yvonne Pilkington, Senior Vice President, Format Sales and Production, NBCU International said, “ 'Who Lived in My House?' is an intriguing mix of history and personal storytelling which truly makes the past come alive for viewers.
